Myself, I'm 30 years old. Never had a girlfriend, not for lack of trying. I've heard them all:
"You just haven't met the right one yet."
"Good things come to those who wait."
etc etc.
It used to bother me, but not so much anymore. Every once in a while, I see a twinkle in a co-worker's smile or wonder about somebody I see whom I don't know, you know?
I know the rewards are great for success. But what about failure? One could lose as much as half of one's assets, or be destroyed emotionally. Can one fault me for being cautious?
I had a girlfriend a short while back. She dumped me and then I went and asked one of her friends out. (Don't ask me WTF I was thinking..) Obviously that didn't turn out well.

Yes it is possible to be TOO cautious.
However, today has not been a happy day for me...
I am married, but things are very rocky in my life at this time
after 16+ years of putting up with my unfaithful ex wife.. I find myself a single parent, alone other than my son, but by choice for now! But one day just the right gal will come along....
