Nonsense Song?
Doesn't take much to drive me crazy, and I was hoping somebody here could help the process along; when I was a little boy, my Dad occasionally sang a crazy song that he learned as a child.
I would laugh so hard, that the most of the lyrics fell right outta my head, but here's as much as I can remember: Looking through a knothole,,, in daddy's wooden leg, Oh, why'd they build the shore so near the ocean, the ocean we feed the baby garlic so we'll find him in the dark, When will grandma's teeth fit Jenny, fit Jenny?
and, She spanked him with a shingle, to make his fanny tingle, Because he slapped his little baby brother, his brother, A snake's belt slips, because he has no hips, and his waistline is just below his necktie, his necktie!
There's a LOT more to it, I wonder if anybody might remember this astonishing bit of Americana for us? Thanks!

I think Googleing something and getting one result is a Googlewhack or something like that.
I think that only pertains to a word though, and not a phrase.
The things you learn on the net...

| A Googlewhack's a single, and made the Knothead tingle, and now he sings off-key like all the others, the others, Go get the saw, 'cause we gotta prune him back, There's another goofy tune among his branches, his branches! |
