new music needed

I'm needing some new bands to listen to. I like the pixies, pearl Jam, Blind melon, radiohead, nirvana and the vaselines. I despise nu metal and other hard guitar stuff, and i'm really gettin into some of the Blind Melon stuff (i like the acoustic guitar style of it)

Any suggestions?

Well, I'm into Pearl Jam, Nirvanna, and some Radiohead.
So some other stuff I like is..
Double Drive, Sublime and Transglobal Underground.

Funny I've been thinking of posting this exact kind of thread the last couple days... except I have a little craving for some FUNK any suggestions for that out there?
