Yep. For starters, I use Win98 for gaming, since WinXP always has some problems with some of my games - just not as smooth either. Win98 doesn't use the second CPU at all. And even if you do use a dual processor OS, any give program/game will use just one CPU. What the OS does is try to divide the running programs up between the two cpus as evenly as possible, so your game is
still just using one of 'em (or so I've been told). I had both 933s OCd to 1030, but since you can't change the multiplier on any P3s, that's all the higher I could even get the system to post at. My Duron on the other hand runs just fine at 1173, and an AMD already gives more computing power per megahertz, so the P3 is sadly outclassed. Nevertheless, it's still a sweet system - especially for $25!
