Roof collapse - no one hurt!

This morning at 0620hrs the roof on a 40 x 100 building collapsed here - None of my guys nor anyone else was hurt - or even in the area when it went down! - My guys have shift change right around that time and so they had not been there for about an hour - The sprinkler system was triggered and notified my guys to go look - they found the roof gone. walls out - about $250,000 in lost equipement.

There was to be one guy there - working - he was to get there at 0600 hrs - but it was his day off - and he took time to have a coffee and toast before coming in - as well - it snowed after we went to bed last night - so he had to clear his steps and sand before leaving his mrs at home.

I won't be back until I finish reports -
? for those of us that don't believe in angels - ?

Do you know what caused it to collapse?

Glad to hear that no one got hurt.

Angels yep believe in them here. Did you ever get that sudden urge to take a differant way home. I have had this several times and found out later on more thatn one occasion that there was a pretty bad accident. Who knows, if I would have went the way that i was going to go, would I have been in that accident?

Glad to hear everyone's OK Wiz. I've worked in the property insurance industry for 17 years, so I've seen a lot of crazy stuff like that happen. Unfortunately, it doesn't always turn out as well for the people involved.
