Tax return done. How to spend?

Thank you TurboTax!! Looks like we're getting nearly $2000 back this year (between state and federal). Now, I just need to figure out how to spend it before my wife finds it.

You gotta love electronic filing!

If you haven't taken one in a while, save it for a vacation. A new computer is great, but a cruise would serve both you and your wive, and you guys would have memories to last a lifetime. Instead of a cruise, you could go to Prague, I hear it is a beautiful city to visit. My wife and I are considering that for our next vacation.

Save yourself the stress of spending it. Send it to me

Seriously, a vacation is a good way for everyone to enjoy the money.

I usually use it to upgrade ONCE every year.. wait till March and hit the comp show or MWave.com... then sell the not so old parts in the forums or to friends so I still have $$ to spend on other stuff like more computer parts

Yes, that's true, but on the other hand I have a Christmas Club account that earned a whopping total of 1.75% last year, so the gov't is not paying that much less.

We got a new Dell with last year's return, so I don't think I can justify another computer. But the vacation idea is a definite possibility....
