On-Line Credit Card Statements

I'm wondering if on-line credit card statements create any kind of a risk for me as a consumer. My PayPal credit card is urging me to switch over, and offering a reward for doing so, but I'm not sure if it is worth the risk. I'm hoping to get some sophisticated, savy opinions here. Thanks.

Holly

Online statements

Hi Holly,
I've been accessing online statements for a couple of years and have never had a problem. Make sure that you have up to date virus protection with good spyware and trojan horse detection. Firewalls are another way to protect your computer and your personal information.

If you have use a router with wireless connections, run in stealth mode with encryption turned on. Never use the broadcast option.

No system is completely safe but I have always felt comfortable doing business online. My credit card companies offer high security when accessing information. Does paypal cc guarantee the security of your information online?

If you have any questions, pm me.
