Best Superbowl commercial...........
This years commercials were pretty much a let down IMHO.
What was your favorite and least liked?
Best: Budweiser Clydesdales. Kneeling to the New York Skyline with the Statue of Liberty in the background hit me pretty good.
Worst: Britney Spears and Pepsi.

I liked the one where the guy runs upstairs to get to his wife and his bud!
Then skids across the bed and out thru the window!
LMAO over that one!

I liked the Bud commercial where the guy slid off of the bed. A close second, though, was the Blockbuster commercial with the hamster and rabbit. It was too funny!

We loved the Battle of the Bots where the old dorm refrigerator beats the tar out of the fancy machine.
As far as worst, unless you're an adolescent boy, the only contest is for second place after Britney's Pepsi commercial. For second place, I nominate the mlife thing. What the heck was that all about?

I don't get it. Every other year when I DON'T watch the Superbowl, everyone says "i only watch it for the commercials, they're great!"....Then we have cable last year so I can watch it for the first time....soooooooooo, they are unique but nothing really funny.......that's what I think this year too.
It wasn't a commercial but I really, REALLY liked the half-time show. The second song by U2 was AWESOME. The names of all the victims scrolling by was very powerful, as was the song.

I tuned in for the halftime also.. U2 is awesome. The curtain for Sept. 11 was awesome.
I thought the dropping of the curtain at the end was a little too literal though.. I thought that part could have been handled with a little more ... discretion, like having it roll up at the top when it finished. The dropping of the curtain reminded me of the towers collapsing
The Budweiser horses kneeling in front of NYC was powerful, as well. I saw that one just this morning on some show that was reviewing the Super Bowl commercials. | |

The one with the Clydesdales was great.
Britney sucks, but she was cute in the '50's garb.

The Clydesdales at the Statue of Liberty still gets me right there. It was by far the most memorable to me. The rest in my preference: Crazy Legs Levi's, Out the window, shake your moneymaker, Caddy and Led Zep. Britney is gorgeous. was that out loud? |
