Please say a prayer for my mom
If you are the type that prays, my mom could use it. I usually don't like asking for favors from people, but here it is...

My dad just passed away last Tuesday. My mom is taking it fairly well, but as they were married for 49 years it is definitely hard for her.

We had the first of two funerals today here in San Diego, tomorrow we are off to Arizona for another on Wednesday. He is going to be buried in Glendale, AZ so we decided to have a second ceremony there.

That's really sad to have that happen.. All my best.

Looks like you are taking it pertty well.. I'd be a mess if that happened to me and I'm sure it will... Both my parents are in their early 70's. I don't even want to think what I'd do.

I always have room in my prayers for others. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Encourage some type of family and friends remembrances and favorite stories session. If allowed, videotape it and watch it later with your mom and family. It really helped my wife after the death of her father. She watches it when things get her down. I can't watch it as it makes me bummed out, but it really lifts her up when people are saying such nice things about her dad that she otherwise would never have known. I know it is a personal decision and one that should be offered only after careful consideration.
