Honestly didn't care as long as it's over.
Now, that bears a little explaining, I know. I'm not a football fan, actually pretty nuetral on it as I know little of it. More of a baseball guy.
But my wife!!
She knows little of the sport either, but she works at a restaurant near the Rams training camp. They get take-out every Friday, and some eat there occasionally. She's met many of the players - and yes, that includes the superstars Warner and Faulk.
Win, lose, or draw, thank God it's over so I can quit hearing about 'em for a few months!!

While I was routing for the Rams I must say that it was a good game and I enjoyed watching it despite the outcome.
Good game

I fell asleep after half-time. The Pats had it won at half-time. My Fiance woke me up when after the winning field goal was kicked and told me the Pats won. I got up, turned off the tv and went to bed. Rams played themselves into Superbowl embarrasement. Warner played his worst game I think I have ever seen. The first half was as much as I could take. Quote: |
I just fought through my sore thumb, and it didn't really affect me that much," Warner said. "Mistakes on my part gave points to their team. And that in turn cost us the victory."

I wanted to see the Rams lose, and yet am pissed that the Pats won. The Pats should have never been there. They had the Oakland game handed to them on a Silver platter with that bullcrap call. It WAS a fumble. And if you don't believe it your in denial.
Losing the game was not Warner's fault. He didn't stand a chance. The Pats defense could not have been executed better in that game. The Pats were all over the receivers and Faulk.

The better team won simple. Nothing to do with the refs or anything else. People may not agree with the call against Oakland but, that is the rule, its not the call that may need to be change but the rule.

But it was still a fumble and not an incomplete pass.

It was in incomplete pass cause those are the rules, you cant rule on intent. The second challenge from the Pats was a clear catch, so this handed on a platter thing is just bitterness. People just cant handle that the Pats won one, too many years as "The Patsys" I guess. What really kills me is the earlier thread, kickoff time the votes were at 26-4. Somewhere inbetween the kickoff and the half 13 votes came in, are we in Florida?
