Happy Mardi Gras!!!....lazy bon tom roulette.... lol

sorry, couldn't resist to play a pun on the french saying of let the good times roll.............

Just last eve, attended the Krewe of Eve parade and had an absolutely wonderful time!!! This carnival parade rolled on the Northshore with the theme "They all axed for you" after a popular song here. The three of us had fun tailgating cooking burgers and hot dogs (ok, they got burnt), but it was fun. We caught so many beautiful beads, dubloons, stuffed animals, etc... This family parade is great fun. I think my favorite this year was the Navy Band playing the blues, wow they were great!!!!

Just wanted to let peeps here know that there is alot more to Mardi Gras then the sin and decadence that is sometimes associated with this season. Hey, anyone wanna order a king cake, I'll gladly find a bakery that'll send one to ya.....

Anyways..... Happy Mardi Gras to my new friends here at IMO......

Hmmmm, no problem here, seven reads no questions. If anyone has questions about New Orleans and the next few weeks with the Super Bowl, and Mardi gras, not to mention a new mayor as of today.... I'll do my best to answer.... The only problem I have at this point is that I'd just love to tell people about what this city and the surrounding area is like at this time. I really love it and would be happy to share...... later 1pg

thanks Freacky!!!!! heartfully appreciate comment.......

Why thank you very much Aaron. I've been around fer awhile and so far I've only posted or commented in community, hence my youth in posting numerals.

..........even though u didn't ask....

I do have 4 systems in house here, or should I say in home here. Two mine, two my sig oth.

I am trying to get past the point of being embarrassed to ask a question.

I hope that I may be able to add some words of wisdom to the peeps here when I feel it is pertinent. I know that my avatar is a thing of the far future, but that's ok. For the moment, I kinda enjoy being the 1pg .....

I just don't want to offend the elders here with my comments, I'd just like to add to the equation......and I'd somehow like to think that my experiences may in some small way help......

Yo Sweet, could I interest you in mailing me an Oyster Po-Boy?
J/K.... I lived in Metarie in the late 70's. A friend of mine got me hooked on them when I was down there.

Mike
