TechIMP pm

My Private messaging is doing some weird stuff. I usually get the pop up thingy when I'm usuing my schools PC's to log onto my acount, but when I try from home, or even sometimes at school I don't get any notification of the pm's I'm getting. Is their some option either with IE, or userCP at TechIMO that will fix this?

Yes there is an option that is set in UserCP that allows you to choose whether or not you get a popup box.

However, you need to make sure that your browser can digest the cookies, and that your browser doesn't mind a glass of javascript as well

(aka dont disable cookies, and javascript enabled in the browser)

Well, I for one think there is some kind of VooDo Involved!

Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times not at all...

Maybe the trick is a dead chicken (in a paper bucket works for me ) sitting on the monitor and 11 herbs and spices with a cantation??

I used to work there... I think 11 of those herbs are "Salt, Salt, salt, salt, salt, salt, flour, salt, salt, flour, salt" lol

Nope the option was selected to have the pop up happen when I get a pm, so thats not it. I set it to e-mail me when I get a pm so maybe that will help me.

I can still try the chicken thing. I think we have some good garlic cloves, and a big pot thingy in the pantry. I'll load monkey island up, and get some of the mojo ladies incantaions.
