lol, this is one of really confusing questions, lets read ur answers guys .... ... i would've said the same reasons men chase women, but they are the same spicies form different planets!

Dogs also chase cars. Ever wonder what a dog would do with a car if he caught one?

I think dogs chase and run after anything that moves ...
But cats! .. mmm ... i think dogs hate cats as a dangerous competitor in the pet field .. so they fight cats to avoid losing their position as the favorite pet ....

Mainly they chase them because they can, and also because dogs like chasing things they can't catch, car was mentioned, Tail is another and shadow they like to chase too.

My puppy is chasing the kitty as I type. He does it because he likes to wrestle with her. Unfortuantely, she does not appreciate it and I usually have to break it up when he's happily dragging her around the house by her whiskers. The strange thing is that Max (my puppy) does not get on the furniture at all. If the cat really didn't like it she'd jump out of his reach.


I love watching Max chase his tail!!!!
