clicking on a post subject

why don't the post subjects change to a dif. color so that when I go back I would know which ones I have read? Some times the wording in each title is very similar, and I click on it again . I don't read them in the order they are posted when I'm just looking for things that catch my eye.

I always liked the standard format of a different color on visited links. Instead we have icons that tell......something....I'm not really sure yet, never have been. Would be nice to have this small feature.
