School Tuck Shop owned

My school tuck shop has been bought out. It was originally owned by a group of parents but now a company has bought them out. It sucks, food is a little cheaper but lines have increased by 300% and times have gone up majorly. Do you think that i should start some kind of protest against the privation of my beloved and now gone tuck shop?

This is just soemthign that got on my nerves today, along with unsalted products including tomata sauce and butter.
SALT ROCKS!B

What is a school truck shop? You mean like the trucks that come by with food and stuff? Here, we call that a "roach coach".

We used to have a 'tuck-shop' in our school, it was a room in the school that was givern to the student council.

They just hung out there and pretended to look busy

Waltzing Matilda

AHA! That partly explains the lyric,
"Oh, where's that jolly jump-buck
You've got in your TUCKer bag...
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me"

Been wondering about it since I was a child. A tucker bag is like a lunchbox!!

But why would anybody have a "jolly jump-buck" in it (and what is that in the first place? )?

While we're on the subject, just what is meant by the command/prediction, "you'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me"?

Expiring minds need to know.

Protest the privitization of your school caf services. The cafeteria at my old highschool got bought out by a private company and now the prices are outragously high.
