I could definitely see my former in-laws doing something like that. The mentality is, "well, it's there, if I don't get it, somebody else will...they're just handing it out..."

Oh, yeah, it also helps to have a total lack of personal ethics, as well as an endless sense of self-entitlement.

It seems these character deficits are showing up in an increasing number of people. I hope this prosecutor nails them good, and their names and what they did are spread loudly across the land.
