almost
I almost saw a small single engine plane crash today.
I was working, stopped by a job that one of the guys I work with was doing. Well it was right on the beach down in Melbourne Beach (Fl). We were outside the house talking in the side yard . It was pretty quite, could only hear the ocean, then all of the sudden we hear this engine just start up right above us and start roaring. I looked up and this plane was directly above us no more than 50ft off the ground. I was like woah...
we watched him as far as we could which wasn't far because of the houses, but he was going up. then like 3 mins later he flys by at normal flight height heading back to the airport.
lol I think he had to get his pants cleaned after that... That guy is 1 lucky person because I don't think he would have made it if his engine would have taken another 10 secs.. Because the height he was at I'm guessing he would have hit the beach about 15 - 20 houses down the road.
