I heard there were over 2000 kids missing. How can that be so many?

Sad, indeed.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children also has a database of photos for missing children and adults, and children looking for parents. Adding to the difficultly is lots of these kids' names are unknown.

There are success stories posted there, too.
