SkyOS is developing nicely. The API is well rounded, and the feature set is improving rapidly. I just downloaded the latest beta release yesterday. Still need to install it.

I have heard a kernel overhaul could be slated for the near future. I have also heard rumblings of improved hardware support assuming the kernel overhaul rumor is correct.

Anyway, yes, BSD. PC-BSD in fact. Check it out.
