I feel compelled to use this forum to say goodbye to my friend and fellow soldier. Yesterday while returning from mission SSG Crooms died after his vechile flipped and crushed him. I had known SSG Crooms on his first tour here in Germany. He is survived by his wife, daughter 13, and son 5. My prayers will be with his family during this hard time.
I'm very sorry for your loss. Although I wear a different uniform, every time we go out the door on a call you never know if you'll come back. It's the nature of my job and if I didn't love it , wasn't willing to accept the risks, I guess I would have to find another line of work. I salute your friend , God Bless Him.
