What do you think of the Ibm laptops and desktops.

What do you guys think of the IBM Company.?

Just want to know who likes and who dislikes IBM.

Thinkpads are great. The best notebooks that I've ever used.

IBM desktops are okkay. Not horribly exciting, although they are built well.

Ivoryblade is on a distinguished road
I have a thinkpad laptop, and it is very nice. They are a good company. Their computers are built reliably also, good company.

Good company, but I've heard rumors that they are abandoning the PC market. Any truth to this?

Just a bit of IBM trivia...

Hal , the computer in the movie '2001 - A Space Odyssey' was named by left-shifting the letters IBM.

IBM did sell their pc business to a company in China which will now be the third largest. What will that do to their reliability and service?
