This is what I found:
"It is part of a program-installation set of files and it is used only during the installation process. Sometimes it gets left on your system (in c:\Temp, or in C:\RECYCLED\BLOCK [hidden]). But usually the install program automatically deletes it."

I found this via a Google search: http://lightning.prohosting.com/~hpg...ve/000234.html

Might help a little.

D'oh...I think Caddmann's quote came off the same site I linked to. Oh well, no such thing as too much info, I guess.

On future requests, please give system specifics so we can better help.

Sounds like a manufactured system, perhaps a Hewlett Packard ?

See, I have to guess, anyway Cloaker is used to nullify other programs during the reinstallation of system specific software
i.e. Recovery

If the system is a HP, fret not.

Usually seen in HP Computers. It is part of a program-installation set of files and it is used only during the installation process. Sometimes it gets left on your system (in c:\Temp, or in C:\RECYCLED\BLOCK [hidden]). But usually either the install program automatically deletes it."
If I find more I will post it.

this was plagerized off another site.

If you delete the file your recovery CD's will no longer work.

PPPFFFTTT...nevermind...someone beat me to it. lmao

Well. Since we all came up with the same answer, I guess we now know who has the fastest DSL service
