Brightly-colored vegetative matter ensures you will get the TV remote for the evening, but chocolate is invincible.

And if you can't remember to send a card...well, enjoy the single life!

BE WELL, NEOSTAR.

What can be better than a box of chocolate and a chance to win a diamond? This is my traditional (and expected) Valentine's day gift. Although, if I actually bought a diamond ring and added flowers, there would be no complaints.

This would be good for a long distance romance . . . IMO.

Have flowers and ballons delivered anonymously to the significant other at her workplace. It makes for great conversation at the office. A stuffed animal thrown in makes a great touch.

Or, get tickets to a Broadway play and dinner at some cozy place she would enjoy. If you don't have that corporate jet or limo to use, substitute the Broadway play for some other cultural event.

The wife says: 2 lbs chocolate, 1 gallon milk.....methinks the baby is speaking.

I always try to do something different, if she sees that you are really thinking of her that's important. Poetry. Even bad poetry.
