i am not an aol user and never was.
but a giant company pouring millions
into making RH a newbie-friendly
windoze substitute seems to me to be
good for RH, good for aol, and good for all linux users. image getting free
aolinux disks in the mail all the time. this
will reaally popularize linux and
hit m$ hard!

I have to disagree here. How many novice users would change OS's just to change ISP's? When 90% of home computers ship with microsoft windows and MSN included, which is becoming more and more newb friendly everyday, I just don't see people putting on a completely different OS when they have a perfectly functional one right there, especially if it means a format.

I think that if consumers had to choose between a prebuilt PC with their favorite, well known OS, or a new OS and AOL they will sway towards Windows.

just my 2 cents.
