dove chick

i recently found a dove chick. it was barely moving but i brought it in and put it under light and it got better. I have no idea how old it is but it has what i would call small pin featers starting on its wings and tail.I have been feeding it crean of wheat with some seeds mixed in. it seems to eat well but i don't know how often or how muh to feed it.and what about grit for its crop.I live no weres near any specialty pet stores.Any one with any info?I don't want the poor thing to die we have had it for 3 day now.

I'll suggest calling your local veterinarian as he/she would likely have some advice for the proper care of the young chick.
