Do you think we have some left to deliver to Saddam?

My personal belief is that if we took care of this joker 11 years ago we wouldn't be in the position were in now!

This has been on my mind a lot lately so I figured I would post it!

Quite correct, we would not be in this current situation. It would be far worse. If Saddam had been killed, numerous warlords would have started a civil war in a power grab, and Iraq would've turned into another Somolia. The only way to solve the problem in countries such as these would be to go in and have direct control over the nation, like Germany after WWII.

We are going to wind up that way anyway!

That's all we did was get a lot of people killed for nothing!

While waiting around for what! Another solution!

We don't prevent, We get dumped on then decide to fix it after it's to late!

The mission objective during Desert Storm was not to take out Saddam, as many uninformed people think (including my english teacher with a doctorate), but to liberate Kuwait.

We are doing what we did to the Taliban what would've been "best" (I guess) for Iraq. The problem is, except for the Kuwait incident, Iraq is nothing but a whiney baby, they never do anything of significance. Now, if Saddam - and every other baddy on the planet - was smart, they'd steer farrrrrrrrrr clear of the terrorism business.

How long do you think we should wait?

Maybe we should wait til he has nuclear weapons!

Or maybe Bin Laden gave him a few ideas on ways to raise havoc on us!
He obviously doesn't care about his own people he already proved that!

Russia was a completely different story, They already had nuclear capabilities so we had no choice but to handle them with care!

I have always believed that if you have a problem deal with it!

Waiting for it to just go away only prolongs and exasperates the situation!

Well I agree with SPEEDO on his last post but we are not really sure whether or not Saddam has nuclear capabilities or not. Don't you think there is a reason he is not lettting weapon inspectors in his country? Who knows what he is doing...
Can't really tell with him.
