How to convince my girlfriend to stay

my girlfriends family wants her to go to BC for the summer like she has for the past few years before i met her, but she doesnt want to go and cant tell her dad who arranged for a plac eto stay and a job while she was out there that she doesnt want to go How do I convince her to tell her dad that she wants to stay and i s going to stay?

You can't make people do things they don't want to do. If she doesn't want to stand up to her dad, there's not a great deal you can do.

Agree. She needs to communicate her reservations with her father if in fact this is how she feels. You active involvement would only complicate the issue.
