Saw "Hellboy" last night

Not worth the $6.50 geezer price.

Okay, so Ron Perlman is amusing, and it was nice to see John Hurt again, and Jeffrey Tambor is as funny/awful as he was on The Larry Sanders Show.

But the monsters were repetitious (and why do they always have to have tentacles?) and the action was loud enough to make almost all the decent lines of dialog unintelligible.

However, the trailer for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow looked okay.

Get out of town Theo. Hellboy rocked! Ok it's not fantastic, but if you don't expect too much from it, it's a fun movie.

About it being too loud, that sounds like a theater problem, not a film problem. It sounded great where I saw it.

Anybody who really loved playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein should definitely see this movie. During the opening scene I thought I was playing the game.

And lastly, where the hell do get to see movies for $6.50? It's $9.50 around here!

Probably saw a matinee...good question though - where did you go see it, Theo?

I try to avoid the "prime-time" movie viewing times: I usually pay like $6 to get into a movie.

Hellboy isn't a movie that I will probably go see. Although, who knows.

Well, if you're over 62, you get a discount at most theaters. Young punks are SOL; sorry.

Ow! Our "matinee" price just went up. from $4.50 to $5.50.

I wont be seeing any movies unless it is a humdinger at those prices.

Ahh yes, the geezer discount

I'm surprised you'd choose a movie such as that to go see.
