The late Edwin Starr, later covered by the Boss (and others, I'm sure).

Just curious, how're you going to work it in to a presentation on Gandhi?

I do not know who sang that but I can say a few things.

Stopped hitler from killing millions of non arians. (which would include most everyone in the end)

Stopped medical experiments on Chinese men women and children.

Those are two pretty good things AFAIAC

Nah, Jackie Chan sang that other anti-war song, that went:
"...and it’s 1, 2, 3, what’re we fighting for?"

No War's the one where he goes "War, HUH, what is it good for? Absolutely nothin' ", and Jackie Chan sang that all the way thru both friggin Rush Hours, how annoying.

gandhi was all about nonviolent passive resistance so im going to make it the backround music on the powerpoint

he believed war was good for nothing pretty much
