Outdoors Nascar fans disrespectful

I don't care if you love him or hate him but to act the way the Nascar Fans today did at the Aaron's 499 in Talladega was so rude and 100% disrespectful!!!!!!! Talk about ruining a win! The tapes showed with no dispute that Gordon was in the lead when the caution flew. Nascar immediatly "FREEZES" the field at that moment. But "OH" the DEI car didn't take the win so lets throw bottles etc all over the track and on a drivers car and cry me a damn river.

Bull$*** !!!!!!!

Americans don't understand respect. They understand fear. Hard to fear someone standing on the other side of a track and a giant chain-link fence.

Seriously, that's retarded. When I went to an Indy race, Al Unser Jr. lost by less than a car length and he was the track favorite. The fans didn't throw a big fit, they just went "awwwww" and then left.

Of course Indy fans tend to be a bit more... Refined than NASCAR fans. [flees]

IF you want to 'boo' go ahead , but act the way they did today (BECAUSE OF THE DRIVER WHO WON) was total crap! It was a total waste of an awesome race to the finish when those fans acted like that.

I prefer rally fans...not disrespectful, but psychotic.

I'm also a big Bobby Labonte fan. Last week when Rusty Wallace won his first race in close to 3 years with Bobby on his tail I didn't freak out or cuss him out. He WON the race and Iwas happy for him as he deserved it though I was wanting Labonte to win.

I agree!! Come on, people are jelous because he won so much when he was first on the scene as a Nascar driver, and he now is comming back and still winning after all the Championships he has one in the past. People can't stand for someone like Gordon to win...it's all about Dale JR., don't get me wrong, i like JR, I like Rusty to...I was glad he won last week, give the driver the respect he deserves, Gordon is not a conceded person who goes around thinking he should win etc., so why treat him with disrespect. This just shows that no matter what sport, sombodys got to act stupid for a stupid reason! They should have been made to pick up the trash they threw and LIKE GORDON SAID IN THE INTERVIEW....HE JUST DID A BURN OUT OVER THE TRASH!! HECK, MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE THROWN THEMSELVES ON THE TRACK!!!!!

According to Junior, when he passed the caution light it wasn't on and was a car lenght ahead of Gordon ????? Did anyone see the replay ???

Of course, I agree. It is, IMHO, a reflection on the fans of the driver who came in second. A certain portion of them are classless. I did appreciate the class and maturity Jr showed in the post-race interview.

Pickel, they showed it three or four times on Fox. Nascar made the right call.

I agree that Jr. did show class but you are right on how it reflects Jr.'s fans though....
