Anyone know a site w/ mpg ratings?

I'm looking for some sort of website that tells the miles per gallon of assorted cars...

I drive a tad over 500 miles a week to work and back, all highway miles. I'm looking for a cheap <3500 used car to use. I currently use a 98 malibu, and it gets from 24-26. I'd like to get a car that does close to 30 mpg and is still decent. My true love would be a crx, but I need four seats. Not necessarily four doors, but fouur seats

Any observations, suggestion, ideas, etc?

Thanks Gomer! exactly what I'm looking for. NOW how about using that engineering degree and telling me what kind of car you'd buy if you were looking for an old one. Reliability, ease of repair, etc, etc. All we have out here is domestic dealers, but they say they can work on foreigns.

this site

is a definite stop before you buy an old used car... very accurate when it comes to vehicle specific problems. Look up your 98 Malibu maybe to see what I mean.

Edmunds is good source as well.

I dunno what to tell you as far as a recommendation. I'd take a peek at the Consumer Reports Buyers guide to get an idea of reliability. Ease of repair? It is all relative I guess. Nothing these days is "easy" to repair.

Myself... I've got an old car, a 92 Lumina. I plan on driving it into the ground. I've put near 60,000+/- semi-hard miles on it in the last three years and it still hauls like a champ (sitting at about 125K now).

Thx for the help. I looked up the Balimu...looks like almost everyone hates it, but it's been awesome for me, just topped 100k, I've only replaced pads, battery and alternator. Not bad, imo...
