Holy effing ess.

I sure hope it was an accident. As Emerson said, "When you shoot at a king, you must kill him."

How long will it be before Kim Jong Il blames the US?

Be interesting to see satellite photos that the DoD surely has by now...something of this magnatude deserves a satellite tasked out to it.

George Bush caused this. He used Rumsfeld and the CIA put a train on the track in an attempt to destabilize the country so that we can acquire the huge hidden oil supply.. But as usual George tenent blew it by missing the NK dictators schedule.

It better not be us. If you try to assassinate a leader, miss him, and kill a couple of thousand innocent citizens, and the guy you missed has nuclear weapons, and he's more than a bit crazy, you better hope he doesn't even imagine it might be us.

Now if I were Osama bin Laden, I might conceive a deliberately failed assassination of Kim Jong Il as a kind of bank shot. Bin Laden doesn't have nukes (yet); but he stands a chance of provoking Kim into using them -- or, if he doesn't suspect, of selling them to bin Laden to use.

I sure hope they can prove it's nothing but an accident.

Ultimately kim's nukes pose him more of a threat if he uses them. I have no doubt that america would respond quickly, accurately, and completely with swift retribution.
