I found this rather interesting to read.

I'd go in a heart beat. Kind of a tad out of my way to get there though.

Thought it was gonna be a cool story of riding at 150mph+ thru a completely empty place on this earth, no stoplights, no cops, cars, trucks or other riders to create distractions, ended up being a story that brought me to tears...

She doesn't really go into any huge details or anything, but just the way she has done the write up got to me. Gave me a very empty eerie feeling while reading it.

To ride past all the un-inhabited towns and then ride into Ghost Town seeing all the buildings without a single soul or peep, would probably make me start shaking. Not really out of fear, but imagining what the people went through and all the lives that were lost. The dead silence that would be surrounding me would be the kicker.

it takes about 50 + years for a place that has massive radation exposure to be livable by humans with no real serious side effects correct? (i understand that cancer will still be a serious issue)

The devlopers of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is allowed to go on to the site - AFAIK - they've been on the site more than once.

Interesting story nonetheless.
