job semi-accomplished

we needed some more light in the upper room of our garage,so instead of installing a normal sized window,we installed this sliding door:

paid around one third price for it. now i must secure it shut before someone uses it for a door!!(the first step is a doozy!)

next is drywall up there along with work benches and shelves.

its only been around 12 years in the making...

Nice job.

12 years isn't too bad I guess. It took me and a buddy at least 3 years to put an engine in my ol' V8 Vega.

Can we say "skylight".

Hopefully you didn't cut the hole for the door 12 years ago

That gonna be the guest room for in-laws, Draboo? So you can unlock that door when they visit, and let them out that way...

Gonna be a conversation piece round those parts, no doubt.

Cheers
Mick

We like to 'improvise' around these parts, Mick.

Looks good, Brad. I'll be on the lookout for that truck...

I had to go run outside to make sure my ol garage was still there!!!

I just rented a big ol cat and tore up alot of stuff around the yard here (big fun). We spread some sand to make a foundation for our new shed/garage and just per chance, it is going to look EXACTLY like yours too!!!! Early morning de ja vu I guess......
