Businesses are ready to dump health care on anyone who can catch it. It's the Republicans and Democrats who differ on how to pay for it.
The Dem's want a single payer system where the government pays everything and takes it's premiums from paychecks and taxes. Basically against medicine for profit. Co pays on a sliding scale.
The Rep's want a system that requires everyone to be insured who is working and with the government being the insurance company of last resort. They want medicine for profit. Co pays negotiated between employer and provider like today.
If business can shift expenses to third world economies for lower wages, why wouldn't they jump at the chance to dump the benies? The danger is what kind of breauracy is going to be the overhead? One that eats 25% or 60%...
