Kids How do you type numbers? With keypad or top row?

I've always used the top row, though I'm not very fast at it. sixf00t4's post on the space bar made me wonder about how people type numbers.

Keypad. Never learned how to type, but had to take 10-key in accounting, so I mastered it.

hmmm....I thought in this forum it wouldn't have to be explained...but ok: First, you take your finger, and apply it on any of the buttons with a number on them, for example a "2". You apply enough pressure until a "click" is heard, DO NOT FORCE PUSH THE KEYS!!!! After the click is heard, you may release the finger from the button. Therefore you have now just typed a number. :-D

I use both, usually keypad though, especially with cd keys

If it's just numbers like a registration code, I use the keypad. If it's along with letters, such as typing Windows 98, I use the top row so I don't have to move my hand to the keypad and back.
