Who's watching "The Swan"?

I haven't seen it yet, but I guess it's this show about women who are blah (but I assume have great personalities) that get to compete to see who gets an operation to upgrade or (change completely) body parts that they aren't happy with.

It would be interesting to follow up on these women to see if (or how) their lives have improved (or worsened) as a result of the changes.

So, those who have seen the show... What are your opinions?

This show is totally wack.

At one point one of the boyfriends of a contestant sees his girlfriend after cosmetic surgery and happily exclaims, "it's like I've got a new girlfriend!"

The thing is, there isn't anything especially wrong with any of the women. None of the contestants I've seen needed anything more than to exercise regularly and learn to apply make-up. The show is just capitalising on and perpetuating an unrealistic ideal.

Me and my friends joke around about this show, and we've come to the conclusion that someone is going to hell for that show.
