I think that he is trying to point out that the current uprising in Iraq is a direct result of shutting down that paper.

I doubt there is any one reason, but thanks for the translation because I was trully clueless concerning the reason behind this threads creation.

The point being made is that MTAtech's posting about the newspaper being shut down is the cause of the uprising.
But I could be wrong.
