Can anyone get on google.com right now?
when I go to www.google.com,
the error message is :
The page cannot be displayed.
I have NEVER not been able to contact Google.
CAn any of you reach Google??

It would help if you didnt have a comma after the ".com"
When typed right, it does work.

Sorry the comma was part of the comment, not the command. I have it as a favorite link in IE. and as of now I cant reach Google.

If you guys can get to it, then its either my proxy server or the firewall (Im at work).

Try www.google.com.au
Working for me as of now - if I type www.google.com it takes me to www.google.com.au anyhow.

Try by IP instead of DNS name
216.239.57.99 or 216.239.57.104 are what nslookup gives.
If they don't work in IE try pinging.

Yes! the 216.239.57.99 works.
Hm I still have no idea why the regular link wont work for me but hey, I can get there using the IP.

I'd say they have a DNS problem with that site, in that case. Possible their DNS server has gone belly up. It'll be back later, I would suspect.
