Kids possible risk of serious injury from natural movement?

I've been thinking about this for some time now

Is it possible to get a serious injury from a natural movement like rolling around in bed , running , bending down or stretching ?

Sometimes when I move in a certain way I can hear disturbing sounds from my body. Is it possible to sever the spinal cord or to brake the neck by simply moving it without adding unnatural force
when doing so ? I've asked my doctor about this but he simply tells me not to worry about these things. But I would sure like to know if I could die from opening the fridge in a wrong way

One word for you sky man: EXERCISE If you can't roll around in bed or open the fridge without hearing "disturbing" sounds from your body, you're in trouble.

That's a serious answer: Start stretching, exercise, do yoga, anything.

If you are generally healthy then I dont think so...but for instance someone who has dislocated their shoulder already...they can easily do it again when rolling over in bed..or when, say, reaching from the front seat of the car to the back to get something.

other natural movements can at time be dangerous..for example, sometimes newlyweds can.....uhh, nevermind.

You're only 22! You shouldn't be worrying about such things.

But in a word, no. You can't die if you open the fridge the wrong way.

I have a friend that has a genetic bone disorder... Kinda like the black guy in that movie "Unbreakable". He isn't too bad off, but his grandma broke her hip just rolling over in bed not to long ago.

Scary stuff.

I am sorry I am not sure I understand you problem.

If you are speaking of a cracking sound when you bend down or twist. A sound sort of like the cracking of a knuckle or 5 all at once then that is probably not a problem. In fact when my back does that I usually feel a bit better.

well my brother dislocated his shoulder jumping into bed.... but just by normal movement you should have nothing to worry about unless you have a problem already
