Yeah but it takes up quite a bit of screen real estate even at a higher resolution and its animted so its distracting and gives me a headache.

Jad, I respect your opinion but there are bills to pay at TechIMO and given the current advertising market these banner are necessary.

We will do our best to keep them from obstructing your ability to browse the site.

Having to deal with ads on TechIMO is better than not having TechIMO at all. IMO

Can we put the ads at the top then or keep out the animated ones. When they were at the top you could scroll down to escape from them. On the side you can't. The "Special Offers" one isn't bad because it's not constantly moving though.

that add on the right side is way to large
it takes up almost 3" on my moniter

im stuck with 1024*768 since im using a TFT monitor
there must be some way to make it smaller or put it somewhere else

I reallllllllllllllly don't like it.
It's very annoying. Put it at the top or bottom or stick with a pop up if you have to.
Did I mention that I really don't like it?

Having to deal with ads on TechIMO is better than not having TechIMO at all.

Dang, I really didn't think it was that big a deal... I haven't run it at home yet, but I usually have ICQ set in the side of my screen which reduces my visual screen anyway and I bet I'll still have more than enough space in 1024x768. I agree that the placement may leave a little to be desired, but geez, to think someone would leave a community as helpful as TechIMO because there's an add banner... Extreme.

I still like the new layout guys.
