Ninja Scroll...

So all of you people that have seen this movie what did you think of it??? Ninja Scroll that is. I thought it was an wasome movie but not a... kiddy movie... what with the rape scene that was just perverted and wrong {BOTH OF THEM WERE} and the blood there was lots of that to but it wasnt really really realistic like The Passion of the Christ. My reveiew go's as follow's.

Visuall's: 7/10. Coulda been better but I guess that's how good they were back in 1990 or whenver it came out.

Story: 6/10. Pretty good story but it does seem to have some X.File's stuff in it.{I DONT LIKE THE X.FILE'S THIS IS MUCH BETTER}.

Charecter's: 9/10. Jubei pretty cool hero and he is based on an old japanese hero {A REAL-LIFE HERO}. The girl heroine was pretty cool not the greatest bot ok. The old guy, {he was my favorite on the movie}. was pretty cool too.

Dubbing: 7/10. The english dub aint the greatest bit it's ok, they coulda got some better voice acter's for Jubei and The Girl,{Can't seem to remember her name}. The old guy's was pretty good and I thought the villain's were to.

Fun to watch factor: 9/10. Now you might be wondering why I didnt give it a 10/10 the reason for that is all the sex on the movie, rape or otherwise. The violence dont bother me and neither does the nudity but...

Interesting. I never heard of it.

If you enjoy watching a bloodbath with seemingly random pornagraphy inserted between fight scenes, then Ninja Scroll is a great work. Some pushed for the movie to be rated NC-17 upon release in the US, though it currently carries a NR status.

Ninja Scroll has a cult following, or maybe it inspires cults.... either way, it is an interesting, yet graphic, anime.

ninja scroll is my favorite feature length anime movie, ever. The story and action scenes are just awesome IMO.

i enjoyed it, but i didn't love it. much like robrich i'm not a big fan of anime set in the past. the rape scenes didn't really bother me tho. i thought perfect blue was worse (which i really liked).

Hmmm I think I'll get perfect blue sound's interesting. I hear it's the prequel to Millenium Actress which is very confusing

Anime is basically Japanese cartoon's but with more {Violence}[most of them anyway's and more {Blood} some got a lot of sex in them those are referd to as, Hentai, {YOU'LL WANNA STAY AWAY FROM THAT KIND DUDE} Some are set back in feudel Japan [COLOR=darkred{LIKE THIS NINJA SCROLL MOVIE HERE}[/COLOR] and other places and still some other's are NeoTokyo THE TOKYO OF THE FUTURE}[/COLOR] Like the anime, The bubblegum crisis There are also kiddy anime's like, Pokemon, Digimon, Monsterancher....
Anime also are knowen for there action scene's which erupt into a bloody mess most of the time like in the movie, Spriggan {ONE OF MY FAV'S} .
Other's still got are pretty funny and just fun to watch like any of the lupin the 3rd movie's or the King of Bandit's Jing. Then there are those weird thriller movie's like, Serial Experamint Lain{SPELLING ERROR} and Perfect Blue. My favorite anime of all time is called{Some People will want to shoot me for this I'm sure} is called, Princes Mononoke, it's about, spirit's, wolves, god's, warrior's, people with deadly diseases, and a whole lot of other thing's....
