He is off here in the Dallas Fort Worth area this morning.

Neither Infinity Broadcasting or our parent company are willing to put our licenses or our stockholders' trust in jeopardy. Viacom can no longer bear the weight of the government pressures and its effect on our corporation. Please continue to listen to this station and other affiliates, as we appreciate your loyalty and understand your needs. While we are sorry to end The Howard Stern Show, we promise quality programming in the future."

It was in the back of my head about being April fool's and all, but somehow I just believed it could be true.

It was funny they had me for a few mins as well---being on the west coast the show starts "live" at 3am (replayed on tape at 6am) I happened to be awake then and flipped on the radio hearing Tom Chiusanos announcment, immediately thought HOAX, then heard Rob Cross aka Chuck Roast and recognized his voice and confirmed it for me---it was funny "Radio without the filth!"

They take calls and a ladys response is---"I want my filth"
---it was a good prank---
