Staffer leaves Rumsfeld notes at Starbucks

As the Washington Post reports today, a Defense Dept staffer – obviously readying himself to prep Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld – left his notes on the table at Starbucks. Talking points, hand-written notes on spin tactics, and a hand-drawn map to the Secretary's house were found by a resident of DuPont Circle, who made them available to the Center for American Progress.

I read the stuff, and omitting what the American Progress stuff (which I'm not clear who is responsible for. I can't figure out what the staffer would have American Progress "answers" for in his notes).

IMO, it is a pretty harmless preparation for someone's boss.

DR (Rumsfeld, I presume) is saying to "stay within the lines" which I would take as a directive to tell the truth. "Be careful as hell with this" means that if you play with the facts you will be caught.

I don't see any anti-GWB smoking guns here, but 'ol Eric's butt gonna be a smokin!

EDIT: I missed the humor in the part added on by American Progress. It reads like some college anti-establishment newspaper.
