Sadly, our whole overall moral/values/luxury living/self centered system....has now made lying A REQUIRED SKILL.....because most people dont really want the truth. (for instance we all want cheap oil and gas prices...and we dont care how, but we dont really want to KNOW all the messy details of how we get those cheap prices...or more basely...so many want their "recreational" drugs...but they dont think of what America's HUGEEEEEEE need for cocaine does to poor countries like columbia. More than a little hypocrisy involved here)

There could be a 10.5 earthquake coming....or 50 ICBMs in the air....or a million martians landing in major cities.....but still the people would want to hear that the sun is shining and its good weather to go to the lake etc.
