well technically I believe that this guy is probably correct.

However he failed to identify one small problem with this in practice. When a good bugger is ready for picking you usually do not wash your hands. As such you are using a dirty finger to do the picking. Possibly introducing harmful bacteria into sensitive tissues of the nasal cavity.

So If you are going to use his advice make sure to wash your hands before eating your meal Like I always do

I always have a supply of those anti-bacterial hand wipes in my desk. So no problems on that front. Besides, I'd much rather pick my own nose than have someone else do it. As they say, if you want a job done right . . .
