Those of you who spend most of your time up here in Community may never have had the pleasure of trading thread replies with some of TechIMO's most distinguished members. There are some really outstanding people on this board who are a fountain of great knowledge and who devote a lot of their time helping others. Yet it seems they get little recognition in the more public areas of the board because they rarely venture up here. I'm thinking it's because most of them have a higher reason for being here and have no use for much of the drivel found in Community.
I, myself, have not dealt with all the true "gurus" here, but I'd like to publicly thank and applaud a couple of them I do know.
DVNT1 is a master of networking and Windows OSs, especially the servers. He is always very quick to answer networking questions and his answers are always helpful.
Peter M is the resident memory, mobo, and general hardware genius. This guy knows his stuff
IN SPADES. His replies are always insightful, spot on, and (very near and dear to my heart) well written.
To these two and others, I'd like to say
Thank You and
Well Done. Your advice is
always appreciated and your presence here is invaluable.
Feel free to list other folks here who I've missed. I rarely venture into the Gaming forum, so I'm sure there's folks there I haven't met. Bring them out for a bow.
