Congrats to Adam for being accepted to one of the most incredible High Schools in the country!!!!

LSMSA is one of the premier high schools in the country. We have gone through a most intense process of reccomendations, transcripts, interviews, essays, ...etc...

Just a couple hours ago, he opened the letter!!! (Yes, I did not open it for him, Arggh, I did want to but I did not)

It said Congratulations!!!!!! Oh My....

I am so proud!!!!

What is the Louisiana School?

The Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts is a preeminent state supported residential high school with competitive admissions for high ability students. Students apply as sophmores for the opportunity to attend the Louisiana School as juniors and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and only a nominal room and board fee. Established by the Louisiana state legislature in 1982, the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts belongs to an expanding group of state-supported, residential high schools founded to serve the academic, artistic and creative needs of gifted high-achieving students. Sister schools now exist in fourteen states, with others in various stages of planning.
What Can the Louisiana School do for You?

The Louisiana School remains unique among the nation's public residential schools in offering a core curriculum of study in math, science, the humanities, and the creative and peforming arts.
