Group work

Well I have to do an oral on the topic of "group work in school"

I am completely against it as the teachers always pair the smart kids with 5 dumbs ones. The smart kids does all the work and the dumb ones get the good grade with the smart kid. IMO it is a perfect example of how communism could and will never work in its true form,, every one equal yadda yadda

I am preparing an oral to say this exact thing, how group work doesn't work.

I am having a lot of trouble finding any type of article on this ( I can't be the only one who feels this way, or am I?)

Anyway any thought from you guys or articles would be great.

What grade are you in?

This is probably a politically dangerous area. You see, Democrats believe in "the group" (the poor, the rich, the UN, the world, the union, etc) Republicans believe in the individual "the taxpayer, the soldier, the worker, the entrepenur".

You (maybe) are being tested to see if your education is sinking in. You have to love "the group" and prove you are a Democrat or you will get nothing better than a "C".

A big part of education is learning how to play politics in the real working world. Dumb groups need smart people to lead them. Corporations are dumb groups (democrats) led by smart, rich CEO's (republicans). Smart individuals like Bill Gates, still need to create groups (Microsoft, Inc.) to implement their vision.

Tribes are dumb groups led by smart chiefs.

That is how the world works. The only exception to this is the family.
