A Decent Frozen Pizza?!?

Hey!
Well, daughters are out , I'm rumbling around, nobody to cook for, pulled a "DiGiorno-Rising Crust Pizza" out of the freezer...HEY, WOW! Not bad at all!!

There's a lot of frozen pizzas out there, and most of 'em aren't fit for the dog. (Esp. stay away from Freschetta...the one in the green box---they seem to think people like a lot of dough-y stuff...BLEH! )

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised...darn near as good as the way I make 'em!

When I have somebody to cook for, that is....

Although the Digiorno ones are good, the best that I've had are the McCain Rising Crust and the Delissio pizzas. Of course that's all IMO.

I'll have to agree with you on that willy, those are some fantastic frozen pizzas. BTW, can you get McCain in the States?

As far as frozen pizza goes..

I like Jeno's Pizza... they are very cheap only like 33 cents each
eeheheh... but they taste good to me.. you can buy an S-Load of them for cheap... and have a couple whenever you are hungry.. or just one of them if you want a snack..

they are not large they are personal size... maybe 5" across?

pizza

I'm kind of partial to Mama Rosa's (cita?) pizza.

It's a different taste to it, kinda gooey, but sticks to the stomach.

For a quick microwaveable pizza, I find that the mini pizzas from M&M Meatshops aren't bad. I'm not sure I M&M's has stores in the states. It might be a Canadian thing, I'm not sure.

All I know is Tombstone pizza is horrid! Blah!

The Red Barron mini pizza's are decent considering they come from the microwave, but they're quick...and if one don't do it, there's another one to nuke.

But I usually leave the pizza making up to Round Table (extra crispy) or if I'm on a budget Papa Murphy's.

Pepperoni pizza only. (<--that a period there.)

Well I've had lots of different brands of frozen pizzas. I like most any pizza, as long as it doesn't have all kinds of sh*t that doesn't belong on it. (read: onions, peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc. All that really belongs on a pizza is sauce, cheese, meat, and, on occasion, pineapple. ) IMO DiGiornos and Freschettas are some of the best. I've never even seen McCains or Delissios in any store. Red Barons are usually pretty good as well. Mama Rosas aren't too bad... kinda skimpy on the cheese, but fairly cheaply priced as well.
